
Ena Kirima
Ena Kirima is a certified Pilates instructor and faculty member for Body Arts and Science International (BASI). Having studied under Rael Isacowitz, the founder of BASI, Ena has had the privilege of assisting him at various conferences, including in Tokyo, and at BASI’s Newport Beach headquarters. She has completed extensive training in specialized areas such as
injuries/pathologies, working with dancers, and enhancing athletic performance. Ena is proud to have completed all courses in the BASI Legacy Program and to be a part of the BASI family.
In 2015, Ena moved to Tokyo, where she taught full-time at BASI Japan for two years, immersing herself in both the culture and the language. She continues to travel back and forth between California and Japan to teach BASI teacher training courses and classes. Ena has also taught in South Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, and China.
Born a twin in Osaka, Japan, Ena has trained in dance for 17 years and Pilates for 11. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Loyola Marymount University in 2014. With a positive, energetic, and down-to-earth personality, Ena is known as the “repetition queen,” pushing her clients to challenge themselves while having fun in the process. She is also a 200-hour certified yoga instructor through Yoga and the Healing Science, and on her days off, you’ll often find her out on the golf course. Ena believes that a healthy life is all about balance, a big smile, and having fun along the way—and Pilates is the perfect place to make it all happen!
